Women Change the World Every Day
Emily Spivack, Founder and Executive Director of SWY, was chosen
to participate in Eileen Fisher's Spring 2003 ad campaign entitled
"Women Change the World Every Day." This campaign featured 15 real
women — not models — who, as Eileen Fisher described, "in their
diversity and commitment to the world create small and large
miracles everyday." This ad was featured in such publications as
The New York Times, The L.A. Times, and Oprah Magazine and in
department stores throughout the country.
"I Make A Difference" Competition
SWY's Founder and Executive Director Emily Spivack won the "I Make a
Difference in the Lives of Women with Cancer" competition through
Ford Vehicles and Hearst Publications in January 2002.
